Larger welcome packages are a size up, all from offshore-licensed casinos, with the licence and the full terms in the small print and a first deposit of £20 or €20 at the very least. Two hundred spins for a fiver is a smaller deal that UK-licensed casinos run, and one number in its terms decides what it is worth: the value of each spin. In simulated sessions on our Classic model slot, the middle package finished on £19.12 with 10p spins and on £6.58 with 2p spins.

€1,000 in matches and 150 spins, split over your first three deposits (300% combined) Deposit needed 35x wagering where the others ask 40x, a €5 bet limit and spin winnings you keep without wagering. The friendliest terms on this board by offshore standards: 35x instead of 40x, two weeks to finish, a published €5 bet limit and spin winnings with no wagering on them. The sums still lean against you: €20 in gives €30 of bonus, and clearing it takes €1,050 of slot stakes, about €42 of expected cost on a 96% slot. Five deposits unlock as much as €5,000, 500 spins and a €650 free bet Deposit needed The biggest headline here, €5,000 and 500 spins, but it takes five deposits and 40x on everything. Reaching the €5,000 headline means paying in €1,000 on five separate occasions. Start with €20 instead and the opening match adds €20 that you must play through 40 times: €800 of stakes, which costs about €32 on a 96% slot, more than the bonus itself. Each batch of spins can return €100 at most and expires a day after it lands. Checked Oct 2026 18+ · New customers · T&Cs apply. Worth on paper: the bonus at the minimum deposit less the expected cost of clearing its wagering on a 96% slot.
Two hundred spins for £5 sounds like £20 of play. It might be. It might also be £10, or £4, because the headline counts spins and leaves their value to the small print. The gap is not a few pence either: at 2p a spin, the casino’s half of the deal is smaller than yours.
This guide covers the £5 version, which you will find at brands licensed by the Gambling Commission rather than at the offshore end of the market, where packages open at £20 or €20 and come with a play-through. To see how this package sits beside matches and other spin deals, open every welcome bonus format compared.
Everything below is sized in plain pounds: what 200 spins win at each value, whether they can reach a £10 cash-out by themselves, what 10x does to small spins, and the price of a day you forget to log in.
200 spins for £5: the short plan
- Look at UK-licensed casinos for the £5 version. It is a small first-deposit welcome that licensees can run. An offshore package opens at £20 or €20 and adds wagering, so treat it as the next size up.
- Find the value of one spin before anything else. The terms give it per spin (“each spin worth £0.10”) or as a total. Split the total by 200: £20 works out at 10p a spin, £10 at 5p and £4 at 2p.
- Convert to 10p spins to compare. 200 at 5p is the play of 100 at 10p, and 200 at 2p is the play of 40. Rank offers on that figure, never on the headline count.
- Prefer cash winnings to a bigger count. With 10p spins the middle package came to £19.12 when the winnings were cash and £3.95 when they carried 10x.
- Know the catch at low values. Two hundred 2p spins average £3.84, which is under the £4.80 your own fiver returns on average, and they reach a £10 cash-out on their own only 2.9% of the time.
If the value works out at 10p and the winnings are cash, the package is a strong one. Below 5p, most of what comes back is money you put in yourself.
Six steps from search to cash-out, spin value first
Block out fifteen minutes on sign-up day. Steps one to three happen before you register, and four to six after.
- Shortlist licensed offers (five minutes). Go through the promotions pages of brands that print a Gambling Commission licence at the foot of the site, and note any “deposit £5, get 200 spins” offer together with its terms link. Nothing at the offshore end fits this search, because the smallest first deposit there is £20 or €20.
- Work out the spin value (a minute per offer). If the terms give a per-spin figure, use it. If they give a total, divide by 200: a £40 total is 20p a spin, £20 is 10p, £10 is 5p and £4 is 2p. If neither appears, ask support before you pay, or read the bet shown when the spins load after claiming.
- Rank the shortlist in 10p spins. Multiply the count by the value and divide by 10p, so 200 × £0.05 ÷ £0.10 = 100. Then read how the winnings are paid. Cash beats bonus funds at every value: with 10p spins the middle package was £19.12 against £3.95 at 10x.
- Register, verify and set a limit. A licensed casino confirms your age and identity before you can play anything, and it must offer you a deposit limit before the first payment goes through. £5 is the right figure if this offer is all you came for.
- Pay £5 by debit card and play it through. Fifty spins at 10p on an eligible slot is the gentle way to meet a “stake £5” condition, and whatever the £5 returns stays yours.
- Collect every batch, then cash out. Jot down the time each batch arrives and the time it runs out. Once your balance passes the minimum withdrawal, request it; if it never gets there, read the cash-out section below before you think about topping up.
The spin value from step two drives every figure on this page, so write it next to the offer’s name before you move on.
Turn any offer into 10p spins before you compare
A slot’s prizes are set as multiples of whatever you bet, which means the same symbols pay a 5p spin precisely half the 10p amount. That makes conversion simple and exact. An offer’s play value is count × value, and its 10p figure is that play value divided by 10p. The table converts the four totals you are most likely to meet and adds the averages on a slot returning 96%.
| Terms say | Value of one spin | Play bought | Same play in 10p spins | Spins’ average winnings | Package average, your £5 played once |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 spins worth £40 | 20p | £40 | 400 | £38.40 | £43.20 |
| 200 spins worth £20 | 10p | £20 | 200 | £19.20 | £24.00 |
| 200 spins worth £10 | 5p | £10 | 100 | £9.60 | £14.40 |
| 200 spins worth £4 | 2p | £4 | 40 | £3.84 | £8.64 |
Spins’ average = 200 × value × 0.96; at 5p, 200 × £0.05 × 0.96 = £9.60
Package average = £5 × 0.96 + spins’ average; at 2p, £4.80 + £3.84 = £8.64
Two lessons sit in that table. First, 5p spins make this package the twin of £5 with 100 spins at 10p, which our guide to £5 for 100 wager-free spins takes apart. Second, at 2p the spins average less than your own deposit brings back, so the casino’s share of the deal is the smaller one. 20p spins are rarer but do appear, and at that value 200 spins are worth more than seven times the deposit on average.
What 200 spins pay at 20p, 10p, 5p and 2p
Averages give you the price; sessions tell you what to expect. The package was simulated 200,000 times on our “Classic” model slot, a medium-volatility design returning 96.0% that pays something on roughly a quarter of spins (25.8%) and triggers its feature about every 160th. Each session played the £5 as 50 spins at 10p and banked the return, then played 200 free spins with the winnings paid as cash. One set of free-spin draws was rescaled to each value, which is exact because prizes scale with the stake.
| Spin value | Mean | Middle result | Bottom tenth under | Top tenth over | Over £5 | Reached £10 | Reached £20 | Reached £50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20p | £43.14 | £34.31 | £22.47 | £66.75 | 100.0% | 100.0% | 95.3% | 18.5% |
| 10p | £23.96 | £19.12 | £12.57 | £37.37 | 100.0% | 98.0% | 45.1% | 4.3% |
| 5p | £14.37 | £11.39 | £7.44 | £21.59 | 99.5% | 64.2% | 12.3% | 1.4% |
| 2p | £8.62 | £6.58 | £4.12 | £13.17 | 76.6% | 19.8% | 4.0% | 0.9% |
| No offer, £5 played once | £4.79 | £3.12 | £1.43 | £7.83 | 24.4% | 6.5% | 2.2% | 0.6% |
With 10p spins the middle player finished on £19.12, close to four times the deposit, and practically nobody ended under £5. Halve the value and the middle result falls to £11.39, still more than double the deposit. At 2p it is £6.58, and 23.4% of sessions closed below the £5 that went in, because a session where your own fiver ran cold had too little coming from the spins to make up the gap.
One more comparison is worth making. The 5p version has the same average as a fiver with 100 spins at 10p, yet its middle result is a little higher: £11.39 here against £10.98 in our run of that smaller package. Twice as many spins at half the value smooth the outcome, so more players land near the average. If you want 200 spins valued as a count on their own, against a deposit match, the 200 free spins guide does that comparison.
Does the slot change the answer?
Less than the spin value does. The same 200 cash spins at 10p, run 250,000 times on four of our model slots, give means within 30p of each other; what moves is the middle result.
| Model slot, 200 cash spins at 10p | Mean of the spins | Middle result of the spins |
|---|---|---|
| Steady (low volatility, 96.2%) | £19.24 | £17.95 |
| Classic (medium, 96.0%) | £19.16 | £15.06 |
| Bass-style (medium-high, built to Big Bass Bonanza’s published 96.71%) | £19.37 | £14.94 |
| Spiky (high, 95.9%) | £19.07 | £13.29 |
On the gentlest model the middle player keeps almost the whole average; on the wildest, a few pounds less, with a longer tail of big wins making up the difference. Switching from a Spiky-type slot to a Steady-type one moves the middle result by about £4.66. Switching from 10p spins to 5p ones moves it by more than £7. Spin value first, slot second.
Will the spins clear a £10 cash-out on their own?
Many cashiers set £10 as the smallest withdrawal. Your package total includes what the £5 returned, so the floor is easier to clear than the spins alone suggest, but the spins are the part the offer adds, and at low values they rarely get there unaided. Here are 250,000 simulated sessions of 200 spins on each of four model slots, rescaled to every value.
| Chance the 200 spins alone pay £10 | At 20p | At 10p | At 5p | At 2p |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steady model (low volatility) | 100.0% | 99.3% | 34.4% | 0.9% |
| Classic model (medium) | 99.9% | 87.1% | 25.0% | 2.9% |
| Bass-style model (medium-high) | 99.9% | 87.9% | 24.2% | 3.0% |
| Spiky model (high) | 99.0% | 73.9% | 18.4% | 2.4% |
Read across a row and spin value does nearly all the work. At 10p every model clears £10 from the spins in most sessions; at 2p none manages it more than about once in 33. Read down the 2p column and something odd appears: the steadiest slot does worst. Its biggest possible win is 400 times the stake, which at 2p is 400 × £0.02 = £8, so getting to £10 needs several good spins, while the spikier models can do it in one bonus round. These are models we built, not real games, so take the pattern rather than any single figure.
What to do with a balance stuck under the floor: it is your money, so ask support how they handle it before you consider topping up. In an undertaking to the Competition and Markets Authority dated 23 March 2018, BGO Entertainment agreed not to use minimum withdrawal limits to stop a customer taking out a full balance, and on 29 August 2018 the Gambling Commission warned the whole industry to remove unfair limits on withdrawals. Both are worth quoting if a small balance looks trapped.
When the winnings carry 10x: small spins, long odds
Not every £5 package pays cash. Since 19 January 2026 any requirement on bonus winnings at a UK-licensed casino has stopped at 10 times, and 10x is a common setting. The runs below kept the same £5 and the same 200 spins at each value, then turned the winnings into bonus funds to be staked ten times at 10p, the lowest bet on many slots, before release.
| Spin value | Play-through on the average winnings | 10p spins needed | Finished the 10x | Package mean | Middle result | Over £5 | Formula value of the package |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10p | £192.00 | 1,920 | 22.8% | £19.61 | £3.95 | 41.3% | £16.32 |
| 5p | £96.00 | 960 | 17.4% | £12.41 | £3.67 | 36.9% | £10.56 |
| 2p | £38.40 | 384 | 12.4% | £7.91 | £3.45 | 32.6% | £7.10 |
10x on 10p spins: £19.20 × 0.60 = £11.52, and with the £4.80 from your deposit, £16.32
10x on 2p spins: £3.84 × 0.60 = £2.30, and with the £4.80, £7.10
Two things stand out. With 10x attached, the middle result barely depends on the spin value: £3.95, £3.67, £3.45. In most sessions the bonus balance empties long before the tenth lap of the winnings is done, and the player keeps only what the deposit left. And small spins finish less often, 12.4% at 2p against 22.8% at 10p, because winnings of a few pounds give a 10p play-through very little cushion.
You could stake 2p winnings at 2p instead. Prizes scale with the stake, so the chance of finishing would then match the 10p row exactly, but the requirement would take 1,920 spins rather than 384: about 80 minutes at the 2.5-second minimum instead of 16. Few people sit through that for a few pounds, which is the quiet reason low-value wagered spins are worth so little. For the same yardstick applied to matches, cashback and bigger offshore packages, see which casino bonus pays back most.
Monday’s shortlist: three £5 offers priced side by side
Here is how the method works on a real-looking morning. Say your search turns up three £5 welcomes at three licensed brands, worded like this:
- Offer A: “200 free spins worth £4 in total, winnings paid as cash.”
- Offer B: “100 free spins at 10p, winnings to be wagered 10x.”
- Offer C: “200 free spins at 5p, winnings paid as cash, maximum win £20.”
Spend two minutes converting, then read the simulated results for each shape (our Classic model, the £5 played once at 10p each time; Offer B’s figures come from our separate run of the £5, 100-spin package at 10x).
| Offer | Spin value | In 10p spins | Formula value of the package | Simulated mean | Middle result |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: 200 spins, £4 total, cash | 2p | 40 | £8.64 | £8.62 | £6.58 |
| B: 100 spins at 10p, 10x | 10p | 100 | £10.56 | £12.37 | £3.66 |
| C: 200 spins at 5p, cash, £20 cap | 5p | 100 | £14.40 before the cap | £13.42 | £11.39 |
Offer C wins on every line. Its £20 cap barely matters, because 200 spins at 5p rarely win that much: the cap trimmed the mean from £14.37 to £13.42 and left the middle result untouched at £11.39. The interesting pair is A and B. On the formula B looks better, £10.56 against £8.64, because it carries more play. In practice A is the surer offer: its middle player finishes on £6.58, while B’s finishes on £3.66 because most 10x play-throughs run dry. If you want the most likely decent outcome, cash winnings beat a bigger count with strings attached. If you are happy with a long shot, B’s mean is the higher of the two, but only because a few sessions finish with large balances.
The planner’s rule from this example: convert first, then ask “cash or bonus funds?”, then look at the cap. That order sorts most shortlists in under five minutes.
Forty a day for five days: what a missed log-in costs
Large spin counts often arrive in daily batches, each with its own expiry. Take one plausible schedule: 40 spins a day for five days, each batch vanishing a day after it is credited. A batch is worth 40 × value × 96% on average, and a missed day costs exactly that, lost rather than postponed.
| Spin value | One batch, on average | All five days | Four days of five | Three days of five |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10p | £3.84 | £19.20 | £15.36 | £11.52 |
| 5p | £1.92 | £9.60 | £7.68 | £5.76 |
| 2p | £0.77 | £3.84 | £3.07 | £2.30 |
Each batch takes 1 minute 40 seconds at the legal minimum pace, and autoplay is not allowed on UK online slots. On our Classic model a single 40-spin batch reaches the feature 22.2% of the time, and the odds of seeing it at least once across all 200 spins are 71.5%. Most days pay small amounts and the day that lands the feature carries the week, which is the reason to collect every batch rather than the first few.
For a sense of scale, the whole package is short. Fifty spins for your £5 take 2 minutes 5 seconds, and the 200 free spins 8 minutes 20 seconds, so 250 spins in all, about two of the average online slots sessions the Gambling Commission counted in January to March 2026, which ran to 124 spins and 15 minutes each. A 10x play-through on 10p spins would add 1,920 spins, or 80 minutes.
Turn it into a habit with a fixed slot in your day: same time, same device, one phone reminder. Finish verification before the first batch, so none of them lapses while a document is under review. Packages that drip out 300 spins over longer schedules are covered in the £10 for 300 spins guide.
Why one £10 cap hurts 10p spins far more than 2p ones
Some packages limit what the spins can win. A limit only trims the sessions above it, so the same cap takes very different bites depending on spin value. The table lays £10, £20 and £50 caps over the same 200,000 Classic sessions at each value; the figures are the spins’ mean kept.
| Most the spins may pay | 20p spins | 10p spins | 5p spins | 2p spins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No cap | £38.35 | £19.18 | £9.59 | £3.84 |
| £50 | £31.92 | £17.62 | £9.29 | £3.80 |
| £20 | £19.63 | £15.05 | £8.63 | £3.72 |
| £10 | £10.00 | £9.82 | £7.52 | £3.52 |
A £10 cap leaves 92% of the mean at 2p, but only 51% at 10p and 26% at 20p. Put plainly, a cap weighs most on the offers that look best: the higher the spin value, the more it removes. When you compare two offers, apply the cap after converting to 10p spins. Two hundred 20p spins capped at £10 pay less on average than 200 uncapped spins at 10p, £10.00 against £19.18, and the middle result tells the same story: with a £10 cap on 10p spins the package’s middle player finished on £13.02 instead of £19.12. Caps that apply to each daily batch rather than to the whole package behave differently again, as the £10 for 200 no-wager spins guide shows.
Run your own offer through the numbers
The calculator opens on a 5p version of this package with 10x on the winnings and a £50 cap, a combination that looks generous on a banner. Change each field to match your offer:
- Spins: the count you will actually collect, after any days you expect to miss.
- Value: per spin, in pounds, such as 0.10, 0.05 or 0.02.
- Wagering: the multiple on the winnings, or 0 when they are cash.
- RTP: from the game’s information panel; 96 if you cannot find it.
- Max win: the cap on the spins, or 0 for none.
The result assumes any play-through is completed. Add £4.80 for your own £5 played once to see the whole package, and remember what the simulation showed: with 10x, the middle player kept far less than the formula figure.
UK brands where a £5 package could turn up
Treat this as a map of where to look, not a list of live offers. Whether any brand has a £5, 200-spin welcome today is something only its own promotions page can show. Every name in this section is licensed by the Gambling Commission, and that licence means 10x at most, an ID check before you play, Gamstop Online, debit cards only and no crypto button in the cashier.
Names with venues you can visit
Genting Casino, Admiral Casino (owned by Novomatic), Grosvenor Casinos (part of Rank) and Betfred all have physical premises across the country. You can see them, which makes them quick to check and unlikely to disappear from one week to the next. The heaviest Commission penalty on Betfred’s record is £3.25m, from 2023.
Casino-first and sport-first pairs
Kindred, which now belongs to FDJ United, runs 32Red as its casino-led name and Unibet as a sportsbook with a casino added; its biggest fine or settlement came to £7.1m in 2023. In Flutter’s family the casino-led brand is Sky Vegas, while Paddy Power links casino welcomes to a deposit or stake as a rule. Under the January 2026 rules, a spins package at a sport-first brand has to be released by casino play only.

MGM Resorts owns the LeoVegas group, a business designed around mobile play. Its three names are LeoVegas, Bet UK and BetMGM, and when BetMGM opened in Britain in 2023 it did so on LeoVegas’s licence and technology.
Bingo-led platforms
Double Bubble Bingo and Rainbow Riches Casino both run on Bally’s Gamesys platform, where a welcome typically asks for £10 and adds more to play with. A £5, 200-spin offer would sit under that usual entry point, so confirm the deposit in the terms rather than in the banner.
Group welcomes: pick before you join
Entain’s estate takes in Foxy Bingo, Gala Bingo, bwin and Sportingbet as well as its casino names, and many of its brands sit on shared accounts, so a welcome usually counts once across them; its largest penalty was £17m (2022). At evoke, 888sport sits beside William Hill and 888 Casino. That group’s two heaviest penalties belong to William Hill, at £19.2m in 2023, and to 888, at £9.4m in 2022.
Wheels and no-wager names
At Jumpman Gaming’s sites, Dream Jackpot among them, a first deposit earns one go on a prize wheel, so a “200 spins” headline there would be the luckiest outcome, not the normal one. At the other end of the scale, PlayOJO and MrQ have built their names on putting no wagering on any bonus, which makes their terms a handy reference when you check whether another brand’s winnings really are cash.
Check the footer
Casumo, NetBet, Midnite and Magic Red, like every licensed brand, name the company behind them, along with its Commission account number, at the very bottom of each page. Paste that number into the Commission’s public register and you can confirm the licence in less than a minute.
Offshore packages: more spins from £20, the same spin-value question
Casinos at that end of the market are licensed in Curaçao, Anjouan or Costa Rica, and the terms say which. None has a Gambling Commission licence, and none is linked to Gamstop. Their welcome offers are a size up from this page: £20 or €20 is the least they take as a first deposit, the free spins number anywhere from 150 to 500 and are released over later deposits, and wagering is set at 35x to 40x. A headline builds to 300% over three deposits, elsewhere a 200% match leads on the first, in places matches run across five deposits and somewhere a free bet is included. The terms say documents are needed before a first withdrawal.
Bring this page’s first question with you. A spin count without a value is half a number: 500 spins at 2p add up to £10 of play, which is less than the £15 bought by 150 spins at 10p, and exactly half the £20 bought by 200 spins at 10p. Read the small print for the value of a spin, then convert to 10p spins as above.
Then look at the multiple. Where the terms say the spins’ winnings are cash, they keep their whole average. If they carry the package’s wagering, the formula turns negative:
200 spins at 10p: (1 − 35 × 0.04) × £19.20 = −£7.68 at 35x, and (1 − 40 × 0.04) × £19.20 = −£11.52 at 40x
A two-minute terms check
- Find the spin value in the published terms and convert the count to 10p spins.
- See whether spin winnings are paid as cash or added to the wagered balance.
- Note how many further deposits it takes to collect every spin, and what each one costs.
- Read the licence line and decide whether you accept losing UK protections for a bigger count.
Offshore spin offers in the wider market
Other sites aimed at British players advertise far bigger spin counts for £5. Two recent arrivals, NineWin and Kinghills, belong to companies registered in Curaçao that each run a family of sister sites; neither has a public track record, and both are marketed on “not on GamStop” pages. Gamdom and Roobet are crypto casinos licensed in Curaçao whose roots are in trading gaming skins. None of them is licensed in Great Britain, and money sent to them in crypto has no safety net: no UK regulator to hear a complaint, no ombudsman and no chargeback from a bank.
Playing at an unlicensed site also strips away the protections that make a £5 package safe to try: the self-exclusion Gamstop gives you, the limit you are prompted to set before depositing, the 10x ceiling, slot stakes held to £5 (£2 if you are 18 to 24), the rule that spins are at least 2.5 seconds apart, withdrawals that cannot be reversed, and a complaints process that has to wrap up inside eight weeks before an independent ADR body can step in. It is the unlicensed operator, taking bets from Britain, that commits the offence; you simply lose everything on that list.
Warning signs on a £5, 200-spin offer
- No spin value anywhere in the terms. A count without a value cannot be priced, so ask before you pay.
- A total that divides to under 5p. £4 across 200 spins is 2p each, and the spins then average less than your own deposit returns.
- Bonus-funds winnings on low-value spins. With 2p spins and 10x, only 12.4% of our sessions finished the play-through.
- A £10 cap on 20p spins. It keeps about a quarter of their average.
- A cash-out floor the spins cannot realistically reach. At 2p, 200 spins got to £10 by themselves in about 3% of sessions at best.
- “Stake £20” on a £5 deposit. That is a play-through on your own money before the spins exist.
- Any multiple higher than 10x. UK licensees have not been permitted to set one since 19 January 2026.
- Crypto deposits, or a football bet as the key. The first points to a site without a British licence; the second disappeared from licensed promotions when mixed-product offers were banned in January 2026.
A package that shows none of these signs, pays cash and works out at 10p a spin is about as good as small welcomes get. For what a £5 deposit does with no offer at all, see our £5 deposit casino guide.
A cheap entry with a firm ceiling
The risk in a £5 package is not the first fiver. It is the habit of topping up when a balance sits just under the cash-out floor. Decide your ceiling before you register, and use the deposit-limit prompt to hold it. Five daily batches also mean five reasons to open the casino; if that turns into a routine you would rather not have, take a time-out for a period you choose. A single Gamstop sign-up covers every licensed online operator at once, because joining the scheme has been compulsory for them since 31 March 2020. Our safer gambling page covers the other tools.
Talking helps when stopping feels hard. Ring 0808 8020 133 for the National Gambling Helpline, where calls cost nothing and stay confidential, and GamCare runs chat support as well.
How the figures were built
Formula figures assume a 96% RTP. Your £5 played once returns £5 × 0.96 = £4.80 on average; 200 spins win 200 × value × 0.96; and winnings B under a W-times requirement are worth B × (1 − W × (1 − RTP)) if the requirement is staked in full. The stakes a requirement needs come to W × B, and every time on the page assumes 2.5 seconds a spin.
Simulations ran on our “Classic” model slot (medium volatility, 96.0% RTP, 3,000x top win), which we built for this guide; it is not a real game. The package runs used 200,000 sessions: the £5 as 50 spins at 10p, then 200 free spins drawn once at 10p and rescaled to 20p, 5p and 2p, which is exact because prizes are multiples of the stake. The 10x runs used 100,000 sessions and staked the winnings at 10p until the target was met or a 10p bet could no longer be covered. The cash-out table and the slot table drew 250,000 sessions of 200 spins on each of four models, and caps were laid over the package sessions themselves. The session statistics are the Commission’s figures for January to March 2026, rules and dates follow our fact sheets, and brand facts stay within our brand sheet. More detail sits on how we rate offers.
£5 for 200 spins: your questions
Where should I look for a £5 deposit with 200 free spins?
At UK-licensed casinos, where a £5 first deposit with 200 spins is a welcome format the rules allow; check each brand’s promotions page on the day and read the spin value before you register. Larger offshore packages are the alternative, and they come without a British licence: they start at £20 or €20, release 150 to 500 spins over later deposits and ask for 35x to 40x. On our Classic model, a £5 package with 10p cash spins finished on £19.12 for the middle player.
How do I find out what each spin is worth?
Look for a per-spin line such as “each spin worth £0.10”. If the terms give only a total, divide it by 200, so a £20 total is 10p a spin, £10 is 5p and £4 is 2p. If neither is stated, ask support before paying, or check the bet shown when the spins load.
Is 200 spins at 5p the same as 100 spins at 10p?
On average, yes: each gives you £10 of play, worth £9.60 at a 96% return. The 200 smaller spins give a slightly steadier result, and in our runs the £5 package with 200 spins at 5p had a middle result of £11.39, against £10.98 for 100 spins at 10p.
What does the package usually pay with 10p spins?
With cash winnings, our Classic model’s 200,000 simulated sessions averaged £23.96 with a median of £19.12, and 98.0% finished with £10 or more. The formula figure is £24.00: £4.80 from your £5 plus £19.20 from the spins.
Why can 2p spins be worth less than my own deposit?
Because 200 spins at 2p buy just £4 of play, which averages £3.84 at a 96% return, while your £5 played once brings back £4.80 on average. Most of what comes back at 2p is your own money, and in our runs 23.4% of 2p packages ended below the £5 paid in.
Will the spins pay enough to withdraw?
At 10p, usually: on our Classic model the 200 spins reached £10 on their own in 87.1% of sessions. At 5p that fell to 25.0% and at 2p to 2.9%, so a low-value package often relies on what is left of your deposit to clear a £10 floor.
Does 10x wagering hurt small spins more?
In completion rates, yes. Played at 10p, a 10x requirement was finished in 22.8% of sessions with 10p spins, 17.4% with 5p spins and 12.4% with 2p spins. The middle result for the whole package sat between £3.45 and £3.95 at every value.
What do I lose if I miss a day of the batches?
On a 40-a-day schedule over five days, each missed batch removes its average value: £3.84 at 10p, £1.92 at 5p and 77p at 2p. Missing one day out of five at 10p leaves the spins worth £15.36 on average instead of £19.20.
Is a £10 win cap a problem?
It depends on the spin value. On our Classic model a £10 cap kept 92% of the spins’ mean at 2p, 51% at 10p and only 26% at 20p. The better the spins, the more a cap takes away.
Do offshore 150 to 500 spin packages beat 200 spins for £5?
Not automatically. They need £20 or €20, arrive across several deposits and carry 35x to 40x wagering, and a count means little until you know the value: 500 spins at 2p come to £10 of play, exactly half the £20 that 200 spins at 10p give you. Check the published spin value and payout terms first.
